Shift Split Field Descriptions

Shift Splits are a way to automatically organize Blueprints into Shifts when they are added to the Schedule Planning board.

Field Name	Description
*Name	The name of this Shift Split. We recommend using concise and meaningful text.
Only include Before and After as Bookends	Controls when Before and After blueprint positions apply to the deployed blueprint. Generally used for setup tasks at the beginning of a blueprint event and cleanup tasks at the end of a blueprint event; for example, the fork lift driver and prep crew may only need to arrive on Shift 1 of the first blueprint, and the cleanup crew may only need to arrive on the last shift of the last blueprint. Clear the check box to include the before and after blueprint positions one every blueprint instance for every shift. For example if the template contains a position in Before, such as a Cook, the Cook will show at the beginning of every blueprint for each shift. Select the check box to include the Before blueprint positions on the first applicable blueprint, and the After blueprint position on the last blueprint. For example, if this is checked, and a Blueprint is split between 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shift, then the Before jobs are only included in the Shift 1 portion of the event, and the After jobs are only included in the Shift 3 portion of the blueprint event.
Shifts	Shows a list of Shifts as configured in Setup > Shifts. Select the shift that will be a part of the selected Split Shift. When a shift split is applied blueprints will be split base on the Start Time, and duration inherited from the selected shift or shifts.
