Contact Manager: View Error Logs

This type of log is created when there is an unexpected error in the contact manager.

Settings for the Contact Manager Log window:

  1. View Error Log Files by clicking on the Log Files Found! link of the main window or select the Options > View > Error Logs… menu option. This will open up the Log Files window.
  2. Highlight a log in the left pane to see the details of the log file in the right pane.
  3. Settings for the Contact Manager Log window:
    • Maximum Number of Lines: Sets the maximum number of records to be included in the log file.

    • Hide: Select this option to close out of the window but continue to log in the background.

    • Clear: Select this option to clear all logged information.
