Use the Workforce Dimensions Data Import Task to import cost centers in to this application. An initial run is required to import cost centers, subsequent task runs at regular intervals per the defined schedule will update and import new cost centers as applicable in Dimensions.

Application Behavior: Cost Centers applied remain with the staffing record until they are manually removed. This means once a cost center is applied in this application, any changes or cost centers deleted in Dimensions will be retrieved upon the next data import run. New transactions show current cost center values for that moment in time, any previous transaction holds the initial cost center value until manually removed or replaced with another cost center.

Moreover, if a message appears stating that the cost center is from a certain date then this means the last data import task was unsuccessful and the cost centers could be outdated. This message may appear in all areas of the application where cost centers are used and will only appear if there is a difference between the last asked date and the last successful date. Check the activity log for additional information, and if desired rerun the task.
