Request Notes are used to communicate with and provide users a reason for denying a work code or approving a work code for time off or additional time working.
The Request Note area in Setup > Codes allows you to manage and set predefined reasons for authorized users to quickly access from the search bar when approving or denying a work code.
Only users who have the authority to approve or deny work codes can use Request Notes, however all users can view request notes placed on personal work code records.
Request Notes are visible throughout the application including the Dashboard, Calendar, Roster, and Request Status page.
Authorized users can select predefine request note reasons or create new ones directly within the work code or in Setup.
Important: The Request Notes field allows users to select one predefine reason or free type their own reason. Each time a user submits a new request note, the note is automatically saved to the database and available to all authorized users to select from then on. Additionally, authorized users can manage and remove notes in the Setup > Codes > Request Notes area.
