Configure Leave Threshold

Requires the configuration of Dynamic Issue Leave Threshold.

To open or create a new Leave Threshold:

  1. Go to Setup > Codes > Leave Threshold.
  2. Select an existing Leave Threshold to edit or click Add to create a new Leave Threshold.
  3. In Name, assign the leave threshold a name.
  4. Configure the Leave Threshold fields as desired. Refer to the Leave Threshold Field Descriptions topic for more information.
  5. Click Save.
  6. Go to Setup > Codes > Dynamic Issues.
  7. Click Add to create a new Dynamic Issue.
  8. In Name, assign the Dynamic Issue a generic or business-rule derived name because it may be used with multiple work codes. When end-users attempt to use a work code and the work code request is denied, they will see the name of the Dynamic Issue. Therefore it is very important the name be clearly understood.
  9. In Type, select Dynamic Leave Limit.
  10. In Leave Thresholds, apply the leave threshold configured in Step 2 to this issue and any additional and applicable leave thresholds.
  11. Configure the remaining fields as desired. The fields enable (or disable) depending on the Dynamic Issue Type selected.
  12. In Work Code, select applicable work codes and whether the work code applies or contribute to the group count.
  13. Click Save.
