Add People Using Institution Focus

You must have Institution Focus: Override authority to add a new person when Institution Focus is turned ON.

Important
When using Institution Focus and Focus Filters, a new user inherits the focus filters of the person creating the record. For instance, if the administrator creating the new person record has no focus filters assigned, then this new person record is only accessible by users with no focus filters assigned.
Best Practice: When creating new users either manually assign relevant focus filters or the new user must be created by personnel who share the same focus filters as the new person record.
  1. Go to People.
  2. Click Add.
  3. Populate the fields and be sure the correct institution shows in the Home Institution field for that user because the field automatically populates with the logged in user’s home institution.
  4. Click Save to enable the Institution tab for that user.

In Scheduled Into, select the Institutions this person can have access to which may include cross staffing capabilities and the ability to qualify for work outside of this user’s home institution.
