Configure Closure Notes Group

Requires authority permission Setup: Closure Notes to configure. Review Closure Notes Field Description topics for field definitions and limitations.

To configure a Closure Note Group:

  1. Go to Setup > Organizations > Closure Notes.
  2. In Closure Notes, go to the Closure Notes Groups pane and click Add Group.
  3. In Name, label the Group.
  4. In Abbreviation, provide an abbreviation for this Closure Note Group.
  5. In Description, provide a description for this Closure Note Group.
  6. Click Save.
  7. Select the Closure Note Group, and go to the Notes pane to the right.
  8. Click Add Note.
  9. In Name, type the note, description, or reason. Max: 255 Characters.
  10. In Abbreviation, provide an abbreviation.
  11. Click Save.

Go to the Closure Notes section of the desired Unit in the Organizational structure and further define whether or not this Closure Note Group is required, select the check box Allow Closure Notes Group to enable predefined closure notes, then select this Closure Note Group and click Save.
