IMPORTANT |
---|
It is very important to use caution when re-parenting
stations because all corresponding units and positions will follow
that Station and re-parenting could result in an undesirable outcome.
For example, historical records will change as past rosters will
show the new parent association, which may include finalized records.
Export interfaces, such as payroll, CAD, and RMS may fail and data mapping
elements may need reconfiguration. Auction items might need to be
regenerated to show the new parent association. Dynamic Conditions
and Rules referencing organization gray numbers may need to be reconfigured
to point to the new gray number. Attachments within Institution Focused
databases may need to be recreated or removed. Changes may not
be undone. Note:
Reparenting disables for an organizational level referenced in the Dimensions Business Structure1. |
