Unassigned personnel can be set to sort dynamically using the custom roster view function Sort Unassigned by Person Formula ID located on the Content tab. Sort Unassigned by Person Formula ID orders unassigned resources based on the returned value of a formula ID variable such as, employee ID, opportunity number, seniority, name, and more.
The Sort Unassigned by Person Formula ID setting overrides system default settings.
To sort by person formula ID, the person must have the formula ID used for sorting assigned to their Profile.
The Sort Unassigned by Person Formula ID setting in the Content Tab of custom roster view runs independent of the Lead with Formula ID setting in the Display Tab of a custom roster view.
