This task requires:
- Knowledge of Advanced Configuration concepts, particularly Vacancy Strategies.
- The start and end times of the target shifts.
- Full Access to Setup items, including Roster Alarms, Shifts, and the Organizational Structure.
The example below shows a 24 hour shift splitting in
half, and suppressing one of the halves.
- To suppress the first half of a split shift enter
the end time of the first half in Suppress Vacancy If field, for
example END=20:00:00.
- To suppress the second half of a split shift enter the
start time of the second half in Suppress if, for example START=20:00:00.
This vacancy strategy example also splits the vacancy in half using the fields, Split Vacancy if DURATION=24 and Split by (Hours) 12.
Go to the target positions, and update the Vacancy Strategy
associated with that position.
