Respond to Contact Log Items

The Contact Log displays upon login when outstanding items in the contact log require your response. The Contact Log can also be accessed from the Dashboard.
Important Contact Log Changes
In application version 7.2 the Contact Log was enhanced to give users the ability to Accept or Reject a shift trade from the Contact Log. Acknowledge confirms receipt of the notification or message and does not mean an acceptance of a job offer or a shift trade.

To respond to contact log items:

  1. Review the items. Choices are:
    • Fill Vacancy: If you have a work offer, use the scroll bar to review the details and click either Accept or Reject. To skip the offer click the X on the top-right, doing so closes the Contact Log and shows Skip in the Status column of the Contact Log. Additionally, work offers typically carry an expiration period, be sure to review the reserve and expire columns to determine how much time you have before the offer expires.
    • Shift Trade: If you have a shift trade, use the scroll bar to review the details and click either Accept or Reject. To skip the offer click the X on the top-right, doing so closes the Contact Log and shows Skip in the Status column of the Contact Log.
    • Message: If you have a message, review the message and click Accept. When the message is accepted the status column updates to Accepted; allowing the sender to see your confirmation.
    • Notification: If you have a notification, review the assignment details. This is not a work offer, this is a reminder of your assignment. Click Accept to confirm that you have seen this notification and update the status column for the sender to see your confirmation.
  2. Close the Contact Log.
