Configure a List Chain

Review List Chain concept and reference topics.

To open or configure a new List Chain:

  1. Go to Setup > Rules > List Chain
  2. Click a List Chain to edit or click Add to create a new List Chain.
  3. In General, enter a Name and a List at minimum. Select the Execution Context for this List Chain. The remaining information is optional.
  4. Click Add to add a new List. Add Lists in sequential order. Use the icon that looks like an up down arrow to move the selected List.

    The List Chain evaluates each Lists sequentially starting from the top. All Lists in a List Chain are active unless a Dynamic Condition is set to turn a List OFF. Conditions dynamically trigger a List ON when true or OFF if false. When using conditions inside the List Chain you must place conditions to turn OFF the Lists you don’t want to trigger.

  5. Optional - in Advanced, enter information pertinent to the selected List.
  6. Optional - in Outbound, enter information pertinent to the selected List.
  7. Complete any additional configuration.
  8. Click Save.
