Acting Authority (Working Out of Class)

Authorities must be sorted in order of most system control and down to the lowest control level to preserve a user’s level of system access when resources are working out of class, also known as acting up or down in rank.

To order authorities use the icon that looks like a gear in the Setup Authority area and select Turn On Ordering.

Note:

Be sure your Authorities reflect system control levels: for example, Full Access at the top and down to Base Access. The application refers to the hierarchy inside the Rank and Authority area to determine whether the user is acting up or down and then enables the appropriate Authority Assignment.
