About Organization Authority

Organization Authority determines the section within the organizational structure that the user can affect.

Items listed in the Organization Authority drop-down menu box derive from Setup Organization. The section selected in the Organization Authority menu box correlate to the sections contained in the user’s assignment.

For example, suppose that a supervisor who can approve time has an assignment in Region 1, and their Organization Authority level is set to Region. This means this supervisor can approve time requests across all stations and units inside of Region 1.

To facilitate in determining organizational authority levels consider Who should the holder of the selected Authority affect staffing or approve work codes for? Moreover, who else can they approve codes for under specific scenarios?
