The Terminology area of the application allows system administrators to rename application terms to more meaningful and familiar terms.

| Use caution when renaming application terms. Renaming these term renames the term in the entire database including the inline Help which could affect other terms in the application that use the new term you chose. For example, if you change the term Strategy in Rules to “List” the change will affect the other items in Rules using the word strategy as part of the term, this means Strategy Target becomes List Target, Strategy Chain becomes List Chain, and Strategy Plan becomes List Plan...If you are unsure of where and which items will be affected by the change then make that new term pop temporarily; when ready and before going into production return to the term and fix the name. For example, if you change the term Job Title to “Job”, type JOB, -job-, JObbb or jobRenameMe, the key here is to make the term standout throughout the application which includes menus, popups, alerts, inline help, dialogs and so on. |
