Authority Field Descriptions

Field Name Authority Field Description
Organization Authority Determines the section within the organizational structure the user can affect.
Restrict When checked, prevents authorized users who can edit profiles from increasing system permissions using the Authority Override field in Profiles. See Restrict Check Box topic for more information.
Note:

Restricted Authorities are only accessible to users who have the permission “Setup: Authority” which is typically given to Full Access users.

Settings These are permission settings that allow the selected Authority to have access to that object within the application when checked.
Unique Identifier The application internal Workforce ID used to reference this Authority.
