Authority Levels Field Descriptions

Field General Settings Description
Component Setup Setup grants the user configuration rights to the corresponding component manager when selected:
  • Contact
  • Email
  • Phone (Line Manager/SMS)
  • Reports (Custom)
  • Task
Component Activity Activity grants the user view access to activity logs for the corresponding component manager when selected:
  • Contact
  • Email
  • Phone (Line Manager/SMS)
  • Reports (Custom)
  • Task
Process Management Grants the user the ability to manage workflows, and work code processes in the queue. This is required if using Workflow Business Processes and Notifications.
Event Management Grants the user access to Dimensions schedule integration event activity in Setup > System > Status.
API Management Grants a Dimensions user the ability to invoke REST APIs in this application.
Administrative Grants the user access to the Authority Levels within the System area. If Institution Focus is turned on, selecting this option enables the <none> option in the Focus menu.
Custom Grants the user access to custom reports. A Custom Reports license is required to use this add-on module.
Device Manager Grants the user access to the Device Manager (InTouch Clock) area in Setup > System > Device Manager.
Tenant Properties Grants the user access to the Tenant Properties area in Setup > System > Tenant Properties where they can edit tenant properties.1
Application Loggers Grants the user access to the Application Loggers area in Setup > System > Application Loggers where they can edit log levels of system loggers.2
