The Pay Information area sets payroll and FLSA information.
Pay Information may be needed when feeding data from this application to a payroll system, or when staffing rules are dependent on FLSA totals - otherwise these fields are optional.
The Pay Information screen contains two sections:
Pay: Refers to pay period information or pay day cycle.
FLSA: Federal Labor Standards (FLSA) information. Refers to a method of determining overtime pay and usually applies to organizations in the USA.
Important: Pay Information is assigned to personnel in the person’s profile in order to show the payroll and FLSA symbols on the calendar and required to return FLSA totals if needed in the Payroll report.
