Configure Employee Category

Review the following topics: About Tag References, About Work Code Category, and About Employee Category.

A concise name for the Employee Category is recommended because it is used along with other categories to create a single tag reference. Use the Description area to provide additional details for future reference. To add or edit an Employee Category:

  1. Go to Setup > General > Employee Category
  2. Click Add to create a new work code category. Click Edit to modify the selected Employee Category.
  3. In Name, type a short and meaningful label.
  4. In Description, type additional information for the Name. This is used for future reference.
  5. Click Save.
