Configure Formula ID

Review Formula ID concepts and reference sections.

To open or create a formula ID:

Go to Setup > General > Formula ID
Select an existing formula ID to edit, or click Add to create a new formula ID.
In Name, type a name for this formula ID.
In Type, select Auction, Person or Position.
In Variable, click on the desired Variable(s).
This application tracks multiple variable settings in the Formula ID field.
Enter additional variables, parameters, or constants.
Click Save.

Assign the formula ID to the corresponding area.

To apply a Person formula ID, go to the person’s profile and assign the corresponding formula ID. Only Person formula IDs display in the menu box.
To apply a Position formula ID, go to that position and assign the corresponding formula ID. Only position type formula IDs display in the menu box.
To apply an Auction formula ID, go to that auction, generate the auction. Click Save. Select the applicable biddable items, and then apply the corresponding formula ID. Only auction formula IDs display in menu box.
