Configure a Job Title

Review Job Title concepts and reference topics.

To open or create a new Rank1:

  1. Go to Setup > General > Rank
  2. Select existing rank to edit or click Add to create a new rank.
  3. In Rank Status, enabled is the default setting. To deactivate, click Disabled.
  4. In Name, type a name for this rank. When possible, keep naming conventions short due to limited space on the Roster and drop-down menu boxes.
  5. In Authority, select the security access level pertaining to this rank.
  6. In Acting Authority, select the security access level for this rank when someone else is filling for this rank.
  7. Check the optional settings desired.
  8. In Equivalent, check any additional ranks that are equal to the selected rank when filling vacancies.
  9. Click Save.
