To
open or create a new Rank1:
- Go to Setup > General > Rank
- Select existing rank to edit or click Add to create
a new rank.
- In Rank Status, enabled is the default setting.
To deactivate, click Disabled.
- In Name, type a name for this rank. When possible,
keep naming conventions short due to limited space on the Roster
and drop-down menu boxes.
- In Authority, select the security access level
pertaining to this rank.
- In Acting Authority, select the security access
level for this rank when someone else is filling for this
rank.
- Check the optional settings desired.
- In Equivalent, check any additional ranks that
are equal to the selected rank when filling vacancies.
- Click Save.
