The task below demonstrates how to create some of the most common filters to get you started.
Create Filter Type | Quick Task Description |
---|---|
Off-Duty | Retrieves people who are not scheduled to work on the Roster for the target date. Setting: OFF DUTY returns people who are NOT on duty on the filter date per their permanently assigned Shift. Go to Filter By > Roster > Scheduled select Off-Duty. |
Not On-Duty | Returns people who are not working on the Roster which includes people off by schedule AND scheduled but off by exception. Setting: ON DUTY - retrieves people who are on duty on the filter date per their permanently assigned Shift. Returns the opposite logic when selecting Who is Not. Go to Filter By > Roster > Scheduled select On Roster > click Edit> select Who is Not > click Save. |
Target a Rank | Returns people with the target rank located inside the Person’s Profile tab.Go to Filter By > Profile > Rank select the desired rank. |
Off-Duty and Target Rank | Returns people with the target rank AND people who are not scheduled to work on the Roster. Go to Filter By > Profile > Rank > select the desired rank AND Filter By > Roster > Scheduled > select Off-Duty. |
Target a Shift Assignment | Returns people with the target shift located inside the Person’s Assignment tab. Go to Filter By > Assignment > Shift >select the desired shift. |
Target a Shift on the Roster | Returns people on the Roster assigned to the target shift. Go to Filter By > Roster> Shift >select the desired shift. |
