Search for Attachments

Attachment Groups with static attachments must be defined in setup before they can be used or found using the Search pane on the Attachments page.

Static attachments, such as equipment, devices, inventory items... are configured in Setup > Attachments > Attachment Groups.

To search for attachments:

  1. Open the Attachment page on the Roster or People page.
  2. In the Search pane, Choices are:

    • Search By ID - used to return attachments by ID.

    • Search By Name- used to quickly return attachments by name or string of characters. For example, typing the letter ‘P’ will return all entries that start with or contain the letter ‘P’.

    • Date- used to search for attachments on a specific date.

    • Category- used to return attachments associated with the selected category.

    • Group- used to return attachments associated with the selected group.

  3. Click the Enter key or Tab out to return available data when using the Search By ID or Search By Name setting.
