Assignment Templates located in the people area provide
the ability to create, view, and manage multiple shift assignments
in a single template, this means assignments and rotations bundled
in one template and on a single view.
The Assignment Templates page provides a multi-day panoramic
view with a paginated screen feature to easily navigate between
assignments inside a template. Drag and drag and drop assignment
functionality is also available to facilitate the handling of assignment
templates within view.
Assignment Template page functions include:
- +Add - used to create an assignment or a rotation
template. Displays a calendar view of the assignment to make shift
assignment patterns viewable instantly.
- Edit - used to modify the selected template.
- Clone - used to copy the selected template ‘X’ many times.
- Delete - used to delete the selected template.
- Audit - used to audit assignment template page activity.
- Push - used to apply assignment template changes.
- Gear icon menu - contains page layout settings Wrap Text
in Cells, and Assignment Settings.
- Filter icon menu - contains limit by settings used to
create filters and manage assignment templates.
- Calendar icon menu - contains the date range to limit
assignment templates within.
- People Filter - opens the People Filter pane to manage,
limit, and designate assignment templates. Filter limits include
unassigned shift assignments, and limit by personnel with or without
active shift assignments.
- Search - used to locate assignment templates shown on
the current page.
