About Ongoing Imports

Inserting new personnel and updating personnel records in the application from an external source is possible using the required xml file format in addition to Ongoing Imports functionality. The Ongoing Imports area is an add-on module that requires a Gateway Manager (GM) license to enable functionality. The location and naming of each of the required folders is located in the <installation directory>/configuration/integration.properties.

Important
The ongoing import process is an unattended process; mainly, used to maintain personnel records using an external source. Unlike the initial import manager, the ongoing import manager will not create new setup items or labels. For example, if a new resource is tagged with a title that does not exist in this application then depending on the ongoing import Method settings the entire process will fail or that record will fail. The framework in the Unprocessed directory of the Ongoing Import Manager contains a 200 file limit. Additional files can be added but only 200 can exist in the directory at a time.
